Please note that you must use Alta Ground Control on your computer along with a long-range radio telemetry link to the Alta X, such as the FRX Pro for Alta X (not included). This system includes everything you need for installation, including a 10′ right-angle USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable, and a magnetic quick release 1/4″-20 mount for attaching the ground station module to an existing tripod. The ground station sends corrections to the drone for high-precision location information. One module mounts to the Alta X while the other connects to your ground station computer. To achieve this, two modules are included. Utilizing RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) technology, the Alta X can produce this pinpoint accuracy both vertically and horizontally. Providing centimeter-level measuring accuracy, the RTK GPS makes this Alta X an ideal solution for agriculture, construction, and other corporate or industrial applications where aerial mapping is a necessity. When expanded, the linkages stiffen the booms to help ensure accurate, low-vibration flight.
